Happened to attend another BITSAA event on 25th March. Got a chance to meet people from 68 batch to 2005 batch. Got to hear from Prof.Rao, director-incharge of BITS-Hyderabad campus,about the happenings at BITS,Pilani and BITS,Hyderabad. With already ISB and IIIT, BITS campus at Hyd will definitely put it on the academic map of the World.
Heard stories from a 68 batch lady about the lover lanes near MB (the girl's hostel), fete behind saraswati mandir, famous dosa centre in the Pilani village… banana shake at the Pilani bus stand.. and how it was to be one of the 4 girls in the batch!! With around 1000 bitsians in the city, its sad to see not more than 100 participants.. we definitely need better alumni networking….
